Privacy notice
This explains what TNDetailing does with your information when you get in touch through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
The data controller is TNDetailing, run by Tawanda Nyamunda, of 19 Exeter Rd, Weston Super Mare, BS23 4DB.

What is collected, and why
Only what is needed to reply to you and price the job. Nothing is collected because it might be useful one day.
| What | Why it is needed | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your name | To know who is asking and what to call you | Article 6(1)(b), taking steps you asked for before a contract: replying to your enquiry and quoting for the work. There is no tick box, because this is not consent. Each enquiry email records which version of this notice was linked beside Send. |
| Phone number and email address | To reply to you | |
| Postcode where the vehicle will be | To work out whether the vehicle is in range | |
| The kind of vehicle, its make and model, the service, and what it needs | To price the work and bring the right kit | |
| When would suit you, if you say | To plan the visit | |
| Up to three photos you choose to attach | To quote accurately | |
| The counts described under Measurement | To see which parts of the site are useful and which are not | Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests in understanding how the site is used |
| A spam check on the form | To stop the form being used to send junk | Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests in keeping the site working |
What is never collected
Nothing asks for a date of birth, a payment detail, or anything about your health, beliefs or background. There are no accounts or logins for visitors to this site.
Your IP address is used in two ways. It is sent to Cloudflare Turnstile for the spam check on the form. And it is held in the website’s memory, to limit how often one address can use the form and how many counts one address can send. For the form it is held until an hour has passed since that address last used it, and then until the next time anyone uses the form. For the counts it is held until 10 minutes have passed since the last count signal from that address (every signal is noted, whether or not the count is kept), and then until the next time anyone’s browser sends one. Each time, every address past its time is dropped. On a quiet day that can be hours later. A restart of the website clears everything sooner. It is never written to storage or to a log.
Photos are cleaned on your phone. Before a photo is sent, your browser redraws it as a new, smaller image, so the location and camera details a phone stores inside a photo are left behind.
Who handles it
An enquiry from the form is not stored on this website. It passes through the site once and becomes an email in TNDetailing’s inbox. These are the people and companies involved.
- Brendon Mapinda runs the Cloudflare account and the website on TNDetailing’s behalf, from South Africa. He does not receive or keep enquiries.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc. and Cloudflare Ltd) hosts the website on Brendon’s account, runs the spam check, and stores the counts described below in Western Europe.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers the enquiry email from TNDetailing’s own Resend account, and keeps a log of each email it sends for its own retention period.
- TNDetailing’s email provider holds the enquiry email in its inbox.
Cloudflare and Resend are in the United States, and the website is run from South Africa, so your information is transferred outside the UK. Which safeguards apply to each of those transfers under UK law is still being confirmed, and this notice will say so once it is.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone else. Your details are not added to a mailing list and you will not be marketed to.
Measurement
Three things are counted, and only three: when somebody taps a phone, WhatsApp or email link, when somebody starts filling in the quote form, and when an enquiry is actually sent.
Each count is stored as one row with the date (the day only, no time), which of the three it was, the page, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and the country. A tap on a link also records which link and where on the page it was, a started form records the service chosen, and a sent enquiry records the service and the kind of vehicle. No row holds your name, email, phone number, postcode, IP address, town, or any identifier for your device, and two visits by the same person cannot be joined together.
One thing to be straight about: because TNDetailing also receives the enquiry email, a “sent” count on a given day could be matched to an enquiry received that day. That is why those rows keep so little.
Rows are kept for 90 days and deleted automatically every day after that. This is done under the statistical purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and on the basis of legitimate interests. You have the right to object, and it is free and simple.
Switch off counting in this browser
Tick the box and this browser stops sending the counts and tells the form not to count your enquiry. The setting is kept in this browser only, so do it again on another device. Clearing this site’s data in your browser switches counting back on.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted from it at all, with or without the switch.
You can also email tawaz@tndetailing.info and ask for counting to stop.
Cookies and what is kept in your browser
This site sets no cookies of its own for visitors and does not track you between visits. That is why there is no cookie banner in your way. Three things can be kept in your browser, and none of them is about you.
- The spam check. The quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which may place a short lived cookie while it works out that you are a person. That is strictly necessary to provide the form you asked for, and it is not used to track you or to advertise to you.
- A copy of this site’s own files. The site installs a service worker, which keeps a copy of a simple offline page and of the site’s styling and scripts, so pages load quickly and you see the phone number rather than an error when you have no signal. It holds nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
- Your counting setting, only if you use the switch above. It is one setting that says “do not count”, and it stays in this browser.
How long it is kept
| Enquiries that did not become work | 12 months in TNDetailing’s inbox, then deleted |
| Enquiries that became work | For as long as HMRC requires business records to be kept |
| Photos you sent | Deleted with the enquiry |
| Resend’s log of the email | Resend’s own retention period |
| The counts described under Measurement | 90 days, deleted automatically every day |
| Your IP address | In the website’s memory only: an hour after you last used the form, or 10 minutes after your last count signal, and then until the form or the counts are next used by anyone. Never written to storage or to a log |
Photographs of vehicles
Registration plates and faces are blurred out of a photograph before it goes on the site, a clip that shows one is cut shorter or not used, and nobody is named, apart from the photograph of Tawaz on the About page, used at his request. If a photograph or clip of your vehicle is here and you want it taken down, or you spot a plate or a face that is not blurred, tell us and it comes down. No reason needed.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask TNDetailing to:
- tell you what it holds about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or restrict what is done with it
- hand it to you in a portable form
- stop relying on legitimate interests, where that is the basis being used
Email tawaz@tndetailing.info or call 07585 614468. There is no charge and you will get an answer within one month.
